Pirate Satellite took a field trip last night to check out A Place to Bury Strangers (great) and Dirty on Purpose (likewise). A couple other bands played in between, and thanks to the Mercury Lounge’s crappy no-reentry policy, we saw them, too. One of them was the Little Ones, a bouncy, bouncy band from LA. This is a sketch of their bass player (before they played; while they played, he wore the biggest grin I’ve ever seen).
