Two attempts at the same still life which hopefully convey it being ridiculously hot and humid and heavy and summer.
I started the second version when I didn’t like how the first was going, then ended up fixing the first so I liked it better than the second. This repeated a few times and eventually I’d reworked the two of them simultaneously long enough that I wasn’t sure which one was which. In the end, I like them both for different reasons.
