My contribution to The 1950 Ford Show at the Art Gallery of Alberta, showing September 22, 2007 through January 6, 2008.
The show is an actualization of Ed Ruscha’s 1977 conceptual work called "WILL 100 ARTISTS DRAW A 1950 FORD FROM MEMORY".
The piece is on a sheet of 8.5"x11" office paper, as was requested by the curator.
(I finally figured out how to sign my work, but the first few proper uses of it were semi-botched, such as the smudged version here. So it goes. You can’t really do a paste-over for your signature. And I am a klutz.)

Neatokeen! I heard someone say Ed Ruscha’s name on the radio not too long ago and the pronunciation was not what I expected.

Yeah, I know! I always thought it would sound something like “ROO-sha,” but apparently it’s “rew-SHAY.”

I probably won’t make it to Alberta. But there is a possibility the show will tour. I’ll be sure to advertise if it does!
