I finally got my act together to build an archive page, which lists all entries by date and title. (I suspect this might be an easier than clicking “older entries” over and over.)
Also, I’ve retired the “Smalltalk” section of this site. This was where I would put links to interesting things I found on the web. But I wasn’t updating it much anymore, and meanwhile I’ve really gotten into using Twitter. So from now on, any links I want to share will be in my Twitter feed, along with stray notions, inane ramblings, cryptic crosstalk with friends, and anything else I’m compelled to spit out in 140 characters or less. (The stuff I did have linked from Smalltalk is still available in the Smalltalk Archive.)
In semi-related news, for the past several months, I’ve been using Flickr to host the images for Gas Water Nothing. A lot of people see my images there and don’t regularly follow this site. Many of you do the opposite. If you’d like to see what it’s like on the other side, you can click on almost any picture (since about August) on this site and get taken to its Flickr page to read comments from Flickr people, see larger versions, etc.
If you have a Twitter or Flickr account of your own, I encourage you to follow/add me. I love meeting new people!
Another change is that I’ve turned off comment moderation for Gas Water Nothing. This means that any comments you submit will show up immediately, without me having to approve them first. I used to get a tremendous amount of spam via the comments, but that’s calmed down lately. Hopefully it will stay that way and I can leave comments open.
And finally, a reminder that you can (and should) subscribe to this site’s XML feed via your feedreader of choice. Or, if you prefer, subscribe via e-mail and you’ll get a message every time there’s a new post.
That’s it for now. Thanks for visiting, as always!
PS: Yes, the blogroll is begging for an update, but that will have to wait a bit longer. (Update, 9/30/07: I updated the blogroll! I’m sure I missed something, but still: done.)
