Vacuum

Every so often I like to paint on plain office paper to punish myself. My Thing-a-Day for February 12th.

  1. I like when you draw totally inorganic things. They always come out looking so quirky and imbued with a personality that makes me think the object is a major player in some narrative. What’s going on between this door and vacuum? Hmmm…The shadow here adds something too. I love that the world of this painting seems to begin and end at the height of the vacuum.

  2. Thanks, Livi!

I could tell you stories about these two, but it wouldn’t be polite …
