This is dated the 29th, but it is actually my Thing-a-Day for the 28th (it was just after midnight when I put the date in I guess). We get one more last one tomorrow.
You have really outdone yourself this year, Jason! I liked what you did last year, too, but this year there’s just such richness and jazziness to everthing even a sleeping cat . I’m only just overcoming the PTSD of making 365+ drawings (one for each day) in 2006, but I swear, looking at your amazing stuff this month, I’m going to join the February Thing a Day plot next year! Great work, really, just wonderful. Btw, I first got interested in your blog when you did some very loose sketches of trees, so don’t think you have to be hemmed in with buildings, if you’re taking into account what others think.
Thanks so much, Laura! Such sweet things you say!!
A month has been hard enough; I don’t know if I could cope with a whole year. I guess the real test of that will come on March 1st (and 2nd, and 3rd, and …)
I certainly care what others think, but I’m not sure how much it really influences what I get done or not. Maybe people who like intricate pictures of buildings are also more likely to comment? I don’t know.
